Redcad2 I've attached the what's new document. The changes to SE itself are not world changing, but I do see a lot of nice features and improvements. At the very least the Parasolid version is newer, but from the pdf attached, it seems there's a lot of changes to suit the new manufacturing and electrical environments which I'd imagine will also be breaking changes. Same problem here, how can it be that some people already have access and I can't reach the licence file? Hopefully those will be available early this week. We were asked to wait until the month of June was closed. Now that it's July, V should be added quickly. What could be te reason for this? Thanks for bringing this to our attention. As noted in the readme file, we have had instances of virus scanners providing a false positive against Solid Edge files. We have investigated such cases and were able to substantiate and resolve many of them.

As long as your version of Solid Edge has the correct digital signature, this is likely another instance of a false positive. All of our products follow a rigorous screening and verification process prior to release. Could be a false positive. Kaspersky has a location to check and report false positives.

I am not able to install it. Can you check if it works for you? When I double click it it doesn't extract into separate folders but it runs the install interface.

Hi bshand ,. EXE file and choose "Extract Here". SeanCresswell Well it's official then. I thought when it was described as self extracting when double-clicking that it would do that. I've done this before so Hi bshand. So exactly that is the reason why I extract them manually once and use those folder structures later as often as needed. I exactly do the same, we do have 8 PC to setup and would be time consuming to extract every time.

Has it been removed? It doesn't matter whether you run the download or use a ZIP tool to extract it to a folder, they both will do the samething when performing an install.

KennyG , thanks, makes sense. I figured but it just wasn't clear to me. We work in a school and have deployed ST10 in many computers. In case we need to change the version, which should be the scenario? Is possible that both versions work well together? Any doc about it? Any doc about instaling silently ? Is there any doc about silent uninstalation of the complete ST10 version, and then a silent instalation of the newer version?
